ORHS Class of 1970 Website Guidelines

Mission: The mission of the Class of 1970 website is to serve as a goodwill ambassador

for reconnecting and sharing memories with our class members.

Goals:

Our goals are simple:

1. Reconnect with as many classmates as possible
2. Provide a platform to share class or community memorabilia by:

• Engaging in chats,
• Providing/sharing contact information with or for other classmates (with their permission),
• Posting memorabilia (i.e., photos/videos from past reunions, school
• organization photos, band, athletics, social clubs, elementary school, school publications, photos of dinners/get-to-gathers with other classmates, etc.).

Security:

• Our platform is  private.
• You must be a member of the Class of 1970 to gain access.
• Access can be obtained by sign in/registration process.
• Share/post contact information for or with other classmates with their permission.

Stipulations:

We want to maintain goodwill by following these guidelines and providing a positive and safe environment to share memories of our lives in Oak Ridge from elementary school through high school. To accomplish this, we request you refrain from posting the following:

• No political discussions/endorsements
• Discussion(s) regarding acceptance or rejection of individual religious beliefs
• Support inclusion and equality of all classmates
• No postings of dinner selections, pet photos, cartoons

NOTE: There are other platforms available for these types of postings. We encourage you to use those platforms to share your passions.

Site Administration:

As with most online platforms, our website will select administrators to maintain website integrity and ensure postings align with our mission statement.

• Administrators will serve as goodwill ambassadors.

• Administrators reserve the right to remove posting not conforming to our mission.
• In the unlikely event that a posting(s) is deemed inappropriate, an administer will contact the contributor and advise them the posting will be removed.
• Access privileges to the website may be revoked if a contributor continues to disregard the mission statement.

Summary:

This website is designed to accommodate a variety of past and present memories, promote reconnection, and establish new relationships within the ORHS Class of 1970. Interaction with the website will enhance and expand our mission. We encourage contributions based on individual comfort levels.
