The mission of the website is to provide a platform for sharing and connecting with ORHS Class of 1970 classmates. The most recent reunion was considered by many a great success. The committee looked at different internet social options to capitalize on that success . We sought to balance security, ease of use, cost to the class, but especially the opportunity to network. Class Creator seemed to check the most boxes. The content will be growing, but the key stat will be the number of classmates that join us and take advantage of the community. With such a large class, it’s hard to describe "the" ORHS experience. Outsiders may not realize just how unique Oak Ridge was. There was the war effort, the incredible science, and the coming together of people from multiple backgrounds. Their children were thrown together, too, and the schools formed the petri dishes for development. Let's reminisce, celebrate, and stay active. 

There will be some monitoring and regulation for order and ongoing development. Feedback is encouraged and invited.
